Fear

I see videos of young adults learning violin it seems more than I expect, you know maybe 4, and they all seem to tremble in fear at what they think they can do starting this late in the game, you know like age 20 or 30 I'm guessing.  I feel that people are acting like I should, too.  What happened to my musicianship?  "Oh, Christina might have just as well quit even singing, she almost did, but she didn't, until she started violin..."  You know, I found there were other violin books out there my teachers didn't talk about and I could've been good by now.  I guess it's like piercing your ears, when you start and anticipate it, you should feel free to practice.
